Non-profit organizations serving the 6th Council District are eligible to apply for an Activity Grant. Activity Grants can provide organizations up to $7500 annually. Councilman Henon reviews grant proposals and makes funding recommendations to the Activity Grant Board of Directors. Grants are awarded every spring.
Parks and Recreation Centers in the 6th Council District are eligible for capital funds to make improvements, fix broken infrastructure and to enhance the built environment of public spaces.
If your organization is hosting a special event, fundraiser, clean ups or block party, my office can provide assistance with permitting, clean up supplies, water ice and sponsorships.
